High pressure will supply sunshine and mild temperatures today.

Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day. Only a few small fair weather clouds are expected. Those will mostly come this afternoon.

Otherwise, the sky will be a ceiling of blue overtop warming southwest winds. Wind speeds will be light at around 5 mph with gusts near 15 mph.

Despite being light, the winds and sunshine will combine to bring temperatures up in a hurry through the morning hours. This afternoon, expect highs to top out in the upper 60s with a few pockets hitting 70 degrees. To the north, higher hilltops may stick closer to the mid 60s.

This evening, skies will start clear but steady winds will prevent rapid cooling. Evening temperatures will slide back to around 50 degrees early on and towards the mid 40s later.

Some thin clouds will move in after midnight, helping hold temperatures in the mid 40s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Rather cloudy. Maybe a late shower. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Thursday: Windy and rainy. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows near 40. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.
