Section III officially announced playoff brackets for boys soccer, girls soccer and field hockey.
Below are local matchups and seeding for each bracket. A full breakdown of each bracket can be seen here.
Girls Soccer
Cincinnatus Girls Soccer
Cincinnatus (16-0) is the top seed in the Class D bracket. The Lions will face the winner of 8th-seeded Remsen (8-7) and 9th-seeded DeRuyter (9-6-1) in a home quarterfinal round game at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Cortland Girls Soccer
Cortland (6-8-1), a 7th seed in the Class B bracket, hosts 10th-seeded Hannibal (11-4-1) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Homer Girls Soccer
Homer (6-8-2) is the 15th seed in the Class B bracket. The Trojans hit the road Tuesday to face 2nd-seeded Central Valley Academy (13-3) at 6:30 p.m.
Boys Soccer
McGraw Boys Soccer
7th-seeded McGraw (11-4) takes on the Class D bracket. The Eagles will host 10th-seeded Manlius Pebble Hill (7-6-1) at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Cincinnatus Boys Soccer
9th-seeded Cincinnatus (8-6-1), also in the Class D bracket, takes on 8th-seeded Bishop Grimes (7-7-2) at 3 p.m. Thursday.
Homer Boys Soccer
Homer (5-7-2) will compete in the Class B bracket as the 12th seed. The Trojans go up against 5th-seeded Skaneateles (10-4-2) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Field Hockey
Homer Field Hockey
Homer (1-11-1), the 5th seed in the Class B bracket, takes on 4th-seeded Camden (6-6-4) at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
