Chenango County Sheriff’s Office: Cortland County teen killed in car accident

A Cortland County teen was killed in a one-car accident on Tuesday, according to a Chenango County Sheriff’s Office report.

Kaleb M. Lorows, 19 of Willet, driving a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu, was allegedly traveling eastbound on State Highway 206 in the town of Greene when his vehicle left the road and struck a guardrail. Lorows then continued to travel eastbound in his car and struck a tree, the report notes.

Lorows was pronounced dead at the scene, the report states. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.

Members of the Chenango County Sheriff’s office road patrol division, detectives division and accident reconstruction team. The sheriff’s office was assisted by the Greene Fire Department, the Genegantslet Fire Department and the State Department of Transportation.
