Very little has changed in the overall weather pattern for the last few days. Low pressure continues to spin to our northwest, bringing in alternating periods of dry air and scattered showers.

The only changes in today’s weather compared to yesterday will be minor details.

For one, the moisture moving in today will be a bit more significant than yesterday. This should lead to a few more clouds and a few more showers.

There will still be plenty of sunshine this morning and breaks of sun on and off in the afternoon. Individual showers will be brief with generally low amounts of rain. A little small hail or graupel will also be possible.

Temperatures will remain cold, aided by a stiff southwest wind. Wind speeds will be 10-15 mph with gusts around 30 mph. This will yield high temperatures in only the mid 40s.

Tonight, skies will gradually clear and temperatures will quickly drop into the 30s. Overnight lows will once again be around 30 degrees with a few pockets slipping all the way into the upper 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows around 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Saturday: Lots of sunshine. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Sunday: Increasing clouds. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.
