Clouds from an area of low pressure along the East Coast will be persistent today.

Much of the time, the clouds will be thin in nature, allowing some filtered sunshine through. There may be some periods where the clouds thicken into a grey blanket of overcast.

No rain is expected from the clouds at any point today or tonight.

Winds will be from the southeast, but light, with speeds near or under 5 mph. Top gusts will only be a little over 10 mph.

The clouds will hold temperatures down a couple of degrees compared to yesterday. That will still yield highs in the mid 60s, though.

Tonight, the clouds will remain with evening temperatures dropping into the mid and upper 40s. After midnight, the clouds will gradually dissipate.

Light southeast winds will continue through the night, helping keep temperatures from dropping much below the mid 40s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Tuesday: Sun, clouds, and a few stray showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Wednesday: Scattered showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs near 60.
