A weak weather system will move through the area today with few significant impacts.

Much of the day will be cloudy, though breaks of sun will be possible from time to time. The best chance for sunshine will come through the morning hours.

This afternoon, a few showers will drift in from the southwest. These showers will be light, brief, and scattered. By far, most of the time will be dry and the brief, light nature of any rain should not cause any major inconveniences.

This pattern will continue into the early evening. Most of the time will be dry with just a few brief spits of rain.

Winds throughout the daytime and evening hours will be from the south at just over 5 mph. Top gusts will be under 20 mph.

Temperatures will steadily rise this morning, making it into the low 60s this afternoon. Early evening temperatures will back into the low 50s before holding steady or rising toward the mid 50s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Scattered showers. Morning lows in the low to mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Wednesday: Morning clouds. Then, becoming sunny. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the low 60s.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the low 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Friday: Mostly sunny. A few thin clouds. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.
