Warm air will continue to push into the region on strong south winds today.

The wind will pick up shortly after sunrise and will be blustery throughout the day and into the nighttime hours. Wind speeds of 15-20 mph are expected with gusts of 30-40 mph.

Clouds will be plentiful through the morning hours before some breaks of sun start to shine through the overcast during the midday and afternoon hours. Any sun will only help temperatures climb.

There is a small chance for a few stray rain showers in the late afternoon. These would be brief, and most areas will probably stay dry.

High temperatures will top out in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

Skies will be mixed this evening as the blustery winds persist. Temperatures will slowly drop through the 60s.

After midnight, the clouds will thicken and some rain may move in by sunrise. Temperatures will only fall to around or just under 60 degrees.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Scattered showers. Maybe a few breaks of sun. Morning lows in the upper 50s to near 60. Afternoon highs in the upper 60s.

Monday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 60s.

Tuesday: Sunny with a few clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows around 30. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.
