A slow moving front will move into the region today.

Much of the day will be cloudy as the front rolls through. The best chance for some breaks of sun will come in the later part of the afternoon.

Scattered showers will accompany the front. After an initial batch of showers early this morning, a few more scattered showers will be possible during the afternoon and early evening hours.

Winds will be blustery, but not as strong as yesterday. The wind direction will be from the southwest with speeds around 10 mph. Top gusts will come in just over 25 mph.

Southwest winds will persist this evening with speeds dropping to around 5 mph.

The front will not fully make it through the area today, so cold air will still be lacking. High temperatures should make it into the upper 60s, but could break 70 degrees again if enough sun pokes out.

Tonight, temperatures will remain close to 60 degrees during the evening. Temperatures will be slow to drop, sticking in the mid 50s most of the night before reaching around 50 just before sunrise.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Mostly sunny. Morning lows around 50. Afternoon highs around 60.

Tuesday: Sunny with a few clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs around 50.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Thursday: Sunny with a few clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.
