The City of Cortland Department of Public Works (DPW) is still planning leaf pickup through the month of November, the department announced.
DPW mentioned that due to an abundance of leaves that have fallen this season, the department’s crew is taking longer than usual to collect leaves. Excluding the week of Thanksgiving, DPW is in line to continue leaf pickup until the end of the month.
DPW is asking city residents to place leaves between the sidewalk and the curb, and not in the streets. For more information, contact the DPW office at 607-756-6221.
