Local organizations within Cortland County are holding Veterans Day meal events this weekend.
Below are details on each event:
- The City of Cortland Police Department is hosting a Veterans Day breakfast from 8:30-11 a.m. Friday at the Cortland Elks Lodge on 9 Groton Ave. Veterans and guests eat for free. Children with a Veteran eat free as well. All other guests are welcome to enjoy breakfast for $7.50.
- Veterans of Foreign Wars Tioughnioga Post No. 2354 is holding a Veterans Day breakfast from 7-10 a.m. Friday at the VFW building on 76 Main St. in Cortland. The cost is $8 for adults, and $5 for children. Veterans eat for free.
- The Osco Robinson American Legion Post 617 in Marathon is having a Veterans Day dinner from 4-7 p.m. Friday. The cost for the meal is $10. Veterans eat for free.
