Here is a breakdown of recent COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health.
The county health department reported on Friday that the level of COVID-19 transmission in the county is low.
As of Nov. 10, there have been 12,783 total positive cases, over 800 hospitalizations and close to 130 deaths in the county. According to the state, the current daily average of positive tests among county residents is 5.5%. The weekly average of cases per 100K is 12.2.
The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated that are 5 years-or-older is 60.9%. Additional numbers show that 59.9% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
