The Village of Homer will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday for its new bus shelter in front of the fire station on 45 South Main St.

The bus shelter is handicap accessible. It will include a charging station, a light inside the shelter, benches and an information board on the bus routes.

The cost for the bus shelter was covered by a $10,000 grant from Cortland County, and $4,481 from the village.
