High pressure will continue to control our weather today.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds as low pressure over Canada tries to insert its say into our weather. However, the high should be dominant, with more sunshine than cloud cover.

No precipitation will fall during the daytime hours.

Winds will be lighter today, coming in from the southwest at around 5 mph. Top gusts should stay under 20 mph.

Temperatures will continue to inch their way upward. Look for afternoon highs mostly in the low 40s. A few hilltops may stick to the upper 30s.

Tonight, a subtle boundary will move through the region. This will lead to some sporadic clouds and perhaps a brief, light flurry.

Nighttime winds will stay steady from the southwest or may even increase slightly.

With the winds and clouds, evening temperatures will stay around 30 degrees with overnight lows in the mid 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday: Some morning sun. Then turning cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Rain likely with a small chance for some snow at night. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Saturday: Rain, possibly mixing with or turning to snow. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.
