An area of low pressure will pass to our west and north today, bringing another round of rainy weather through the area.

Rain should arrive during the mid to late morning hours and will continue steadily well into the afternoon. Late in the afternoon, dry air will work in, ending the steady rain.

Scattered showers will continue to be possible, however, including after sunset and through much of the overnight. By dawn Monday, some snow may be mixing in with the rain showers.

Temperatures will reach their maximum late in the afternoon or early in the evening. Look for highs in the upper 40s to perhaps near 50 degrees.

Winds will start the day from the southeast, but will gradually turn clockwise to the south, then southwest by the early evening. Wind speeds will be around 10 mph with gusts under 30 mph.

Overnight, the wind will turn to the west, then northwest, allowing cooler air to move in. By Monday morning, temperatures will be in the mid 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Scattered rain and snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Wednesday: Windy with rain. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs around 50.

Thursday: Windy. A few snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
