Today will be a quiet, rather cloudy day as temperatures start to creep upwards.

There will be plenty of clouds throughout the day, but little in the way of precipitation. Only a few stray flurries are possible and most areas will not see any snow. No accumulation is expected with the stray flurries.

Some breaks of sunshine will try to poke through the clouds from time to time, so it should not be completely overcast all day.

Mostly cloudy but dry skies are expected to persist into the evening and overnight hours.

Winds will be from the southwest with speeds of 5-10 mph. Top gusts on the day will be around 20 mph.

Temperatures will start to gain some ground with afternoon highs reaching the mid 20s. Evening temperatures will drop quickly to the mid 10s.

Overnight, winds will turn more southerly, and temperatures will increase slightly. By Wednesday morning, temperatures should be into the low 20s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: More clouds than sun. Predawn temperatures warming to the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Friday: Clouds, a little sun, and a few rain showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Saturday: Cloudy with rain possible, especially in the afternoon. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.
