High pressure will move through the region today with quiet, sunny weather.

Only a few clouds are expected here and there today. Most of the clouds will be thin, but some other, small but thicker clouds will be possible, too.

Overall, though, sunshine will dominate from start to finish today.

With the high pressure overhead, winds will be nearly calm, especially this morning. This afternoon, a whisper of a gentle south breeze will develop with speeds under 5 mph.

The sunshine will help temperatures warm into the mid 30s this afternoon, which is just a touch above the daily average high.

Tonight, clouds will move in, resulting in mixed to mostly cloudy skies. Winds will remain light and will eventually turn to the west.

Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 20s, then remain there or slightly lower through the overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: More sun than clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe a flurry. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Wednesday: Plenty of clouds, but possibly a little sun, too. Morning lows in the low 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Thursday: Some early sun, then increasing clouds. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
