The Village of Homer Board of Trustees adopted the 2023-24 fiscal year budget at its meeting on Tuesday.
The budget is set at $3,788,765.82, which is $300,000 more than the 2022-23 budget ($3,435,274.87), and close to $10,000 more than the modified 2022-23 budget ($3,779,024.25). The difference between budgets amounts to a 10.29-percent change.
The newly-approved budget also notes a property tax levy less than 1%.
