Cortland-Homer ice hockey makes 3rd-straight appearance in state rankings

The Cortland-Homer boys ice hockey team has appeared in the New York State Sportswriter Association’s state rankings for a third-straight week.

In this week's Division II state rankings, the Golden Eagles (10-2) stayed at No. 7 for the second week in a row.

Cortland-Homer is coming off a 5-2 win over Clinton last Tuesday. The Eagles are slated to face Oswego at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Other Section III teams in the Division II rankings include Skaneateles at No. 4 and CBA/J-D at No. 2. Division I teams ranked are West Genesee at No. 5 and Baldwinsville at No. 10.
