Here are some local high school varsity sports recaps from Monday’s events:
Varsity Boys Basketball: Mcgraw vs. Mater Dei Academy
The McGraw Eagles improved to a 10-3 record after beating Mater Dei Academy with a score of 58-28 at home Monday night.
McGraw was led by Gaven Truman (25 points), Nick Sutton (11 points), and Dylan Truman (10 points).
Mater Dei Academy was led by Nicholas Edwards (10 points) and Philip Halligan (5 points).
Up next, McGraw is scheduled to play Newark Valley tonight (Wednesday, January 24th) on the road at 7:30pm.

Varsity Boys Basketball: Cincinnatus vs. Fabius-Pompey
The Cincinnatus Lions lost a close game against Fabius-Pompey with a score of 40-45 Monday night.
With this loss, Cincinnatus has fallen to a 2-10 record.
Cincinnatus was led by Canden Stafford (17 points), John Schuyler (10 points), and Jack Stafford (10 points).
Fabius-Pompey was led by Michael Stanley (17 points), Kevin Jefferson (13 points), and Alexander Stanley (10 points).
Cincinnatus’ next game will be played on the road against New York Mills this Wednesday (January 25th) at 7pm.
