A small weather disturbance will pass through this morning.

Accompanying this system will be some gusty winds and snow showers, both of which will be more prevalent in the morning than the afternoon.

Winds will be from the southwest, turning to the west, with speeds slightly over 10 mph. A few gusts could reach 30 mph, particularly over the higher elevations.

The winds will drop during the afternoon, with speeds only around 5 mph by the late afternoon.

Scattered snow showers will be likely with a coating to locally up to an inch falling. These will taper off, but probably will not completely end of the afternoon.

The snow in the afternoon will be very sporadic, though, with little to no additional accumulation. A brief glimpse of sunshine between flurries may even be possible.

Temperatures have already been on the rise early this morning and will continue to push upward. Look for highs in the mid or even upper 30s this afternoon.

Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy in the evening and fully cloudy overnight. Temperatures will drop back into the 20s during the evening, but will again rise overnight back toward the 30s by Sunday morning.

A few snow, or even rain showers will be possible as dawn breaks Sunday.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Sunday: Cloudy with some rain and a few early and late snow showers. Morning lows around 30. Afternoon highs near 40.

Monday: Afternoon and evening snow, maybe starting as a little rain. Morning lows in the mid 20s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.

Tuesday: A few scattered lake effect snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe some snow. Morning lows in the mid 0s. Afternoon highs in the low 20s.
