Another small weather disturbance will pass through the area today, this time with a mix of rain and snow.

Precipitation will move in during the mid-morning hours and may start out as mostly snow. Gradually, rain will take over as the predominant precipitation type, except perhaps at some higher elevations.

The best chance for steady precipitation will be in the late morning and early afternoon. After that, the precipitation should taper to a few rain showers.

Tonight, cooler air will move back in, changing the rain back to flurries, with little to no accumulation expected.

Winds will be from the south this morning, turning to the southwest this afternoon. Wind speeds will be up to 10 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.

The wind will turn to the northwest this evening with speeds around 5 mph and will end up from the north overnight.

Temperatures should top out in the mid and upper 30s this afternoon. Mid 30s will hold on early in the evening until the wind shifts, after which they will fall back to the mid 20s.
