Another day, another small weather system. Unlike yesterday, though, today’s temperatures will be cool enough for snow to fall.
After a cloudy but quiet start to the day, snow will move in during the late morning and midday hours. Snow will fall steadily through the afternoon.
The snow that falls will be light, so little in the way of accumulation is expected. Most areas should see an inch or less by sunset.
Winds will also be light, coming from the north and northwest at speeds near or under 5 mph. The wind may even go calm for some periods of time.
Temperatures will stick to the low 30s this afternoon, then drop back into the mid 20s for the evening. Steady snow will transition to more on and off snow showers, with an additional coating to an inch falling.
By Tuesday morning, a snow showers will be lingering and temperatures will have fallen to the mid and upper 10s.

Tuesday: Morning snow showers gradually tapering off. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.
Wednesday: Increasing sunshine. Morning lows in the upper 0s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.
Thursday: Clouds and some sun. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
Friday: Windy with flurries and squalls. Morning temperatures around 20, falling to near 10 in the afternoon.
