A homeless man out of Ithaca was arrested Sunday evening after he struck an individual with a weapon, according to a City of Cortland Police Department report.
The report stated that city police officers responded to a disturbance on Church Street that involved two individuals fighting.
Frank Tchezama, 30, fought a male individual over a female. Tchezama proceeded to use a knife to cut the individual in the chest and hand.
Tchezama was arrested and charged with second-degree assault (a Class-D Felony), and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon and second-degree menacing (Both Class-A Misdemeanors). He is currently awaiting arraignment at Cortland city court.
