Cortland girls basketball makes it six-straight weeks in state rankings

The Cortland varsity girls basketball team appeared in the New York State Sportswriters Association rankings for a sixth-straight week.

The Purple Tigers (13-4) are ranked 19th in the state in Class B for the second week in a row.

Cortland faces Central Square on the road today. Tip-off is slated for 6:45 p.m.

Other Section III Class B teams ranked in the state are General Brown at No. 6 and Westhill at No. 24.
