Cincinnatus girls volleyball team garners high seed for sectionals

The Cincinnatus varsity girls volleyball squad has garnered a high seed for the Section III Class D Tournament, which starts this week.

The Lions (12-3) are the second seed in the Class D tournament and received a first-round bye. The team is slated to host the winner of 7th-seeded Manlius-Pebble Hill (10-6) and 10th-seeded DeRuyter (6-8) at 6 p.m. Friday in the quarterfinal round.

Town of Webb (14-3) is the top seed in the Class D bracket. A breakdown of the Class A through D brackets can be seen here.
