Cortland firefighters put out house fire (Photos Included)

City of Cortland firefighters made quick work of a house fire on Port Watson Tuesday morning, according to a release.

The first crew on scene executed a search for victims, which was reported with no injuries, and a fire extension. A second crew stretched a hose line and began suppressing the fire, and a third crew placed ladders for firefighter safety and ventilation.

The Cortland and New York State fire investigation teams are in the process of discovering the cause and origin of the fire. Those with information are asked to call 607-756-5612.
