The biggest story in the weather today will be some blustery northwest winds.

The winds will be strongest during the midday and afternoon hours, with speeds of 15-20 mph and gusts of 35-45 mph. Lighter, but still blustery winds are expected in the morning and evening hours.

These winds will bring in some cooler air with highs today in the upper 20s to perhaps low 30s.

Skies will be cloudy much of the day, and this afternoon, some snow showers will move in from the north and northeast. Light snow will continue into the evening and overnight hours.

Most areas will only see a dusting of snow accumulation, but some of the higher elevations could see up to an inch.

Evening temperatures will fall to the low 20s shortly after sunset and should end up in the upper 10s by Wednesday morning.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Cloudy with a few flurries. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 20s.

Thursday: Cloudy. Maybe a stray flurry. Morning lows in the upper 10s. Afternoon highs in the upper 20s.

Friday: Cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 10s. Afternoon highs in the mid 30s.
