Here is a breakdown of recent COVID-19 numbers in Cortland County. It is based on recorded information from the Cortland County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health.

The county health department reported that the level of COVID-19 transmission in the county is currently low.

As of March 16, there have been 13,616 recorded positive cases, over 900 hospitalizations and 135 deaths in the county. According to the state, the current daily average of positive tests among county residents is 7.3%. The weekly average of cases per 100K is 11.9.

The recent percentage of county residents fully vaccinated that are 5 years-or-older is 61.3%. Additional numbers show that 61% of county residents are fully vaccinated with a booster shot.
