A man was arrested recently after he threatened to harm an individual over the phone, according to a Cortland County Sheriff’s Office report.
The report stated that Michael J. Diorio, 33 of Cortland, called the Cortland County Department of Emergency Response and Communication Center and verbally threatened to “physically harm” an employee.
A warrant was issued for Diorio’s arrest. He was officially arrested on Friday and charged with aggravated harassment (a Class-A Misdemeanor).
Diorio was processed, arraigned, released and now due to appear in Cortland city court on April 12.
