Your Cortland County weather forecast for Sunday, March 26, 2023:

Low pressure will pull away from the region today, leading to a gradual decrease in winds and clouds.

The morning will be mostly cloudy and quite blustery. West winds will blow at 15-20 mph with gusts of 35-45 mph.

Despite the thick clouds, no precipitation is expected.

During the late morning and early afternoon, clouds will depart and wind speeds will start to drop. Much of the afternoon should turn out sunny with blustery, but not overly strong winds.

The afternoon winds will turn to the northwest with speeds dropping to around 10 mph by the late afternoon. Gusts much of the afternoon will be in the 25-35 mph range, but gradually dropping.

Temperatures will reach a high in the mid and upper 40s.

Tonight, skies will be clear and winds will become light. Evening temperatures will drop into the low and mid 30s while overnight temperatures bottom out in the mid 20s.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy. Some nighttime rain and snow showers. Morning lows in the mid 20s.  Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Thursday: Becoming partly cloudy. Morning lows in the upper 20s.  Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.
