County Sheriff’s Office investigates burglary at hair salon in Marathon

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is requesting assistance for a burglary that took place at a hair salon in Marathon last week, according to a report.

The report stated that “several items of hair-care products” were stolen from the Generations Hair Salon on East Main Street in the village of Marathon during the overnight hours of March 22-to-23.

The investigation is ongoing. Those with information are asked to either call the county sheriff’s criminal investigation division at 607-758-6151, or the Sgt. Mark Starner at 607-758-5541.
