Today will be one final warm day before a new pattern is ushered in by an overnight cold front.

Skies will be a mix of sun and clouds today. Clouds are especially likely early on this morning and again late in the afternoon. There should be some sunny periods during the middle of the day, though.

Precipitation is unlikely, though a highly isolated, brief shower cannot totally be ruled out this afternoon. By far, the chances are much greater that the entire region stays dry during the daytime hours.

Temperatures will rise to the mid and upper 70s this afternoon. This evening, temperatures will be slow to drop into the 60s as clouds increase ahead of the cold front.

Winds will also increase this evening, rising from 5-10 mph during the daytime hours to over 10 mph after sunset. These winds will all be from the southeast.

Rain associated with the cold front will not move in until after midnight and will still be in the area at sunrise Monday.

Overnight temperatures will stick to the mid 50s until dropping into the 40s just before dawn as the cold front moves through.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Monday: Cloudy with showers. Maybe a little late sun. Morning lows in the upper 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Tuesday: Cloudy with showers and maybe some early morning and evening flurries. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. Maybe an early flurry or shower. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 40s.

Thursday: Clouds and some sun. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.
