Not much will change in the weather pattern today as a weak area of low pressure continues to meander around eastern Canada.

Most of the day will just be cloudy, but a few glimpses of sunshine will be possible from time to time. The morning hours have a better chance for some sun than the afternoon.

Conversely, showers will be more likely in the afternoon than the morning, though a spit of rain will be possible at any time. Overall, the rain should be a touch more sporadic than yesterday, so there is a small chance a few places could escape the day dry.

Winds will be out of the west and northwest, mainly with speeds around or just over 5 mph.

Afternoon highs will be around or just above 50 degrees today. A few hilltops in the northern parts of the county may not quite make it all the way to 50 degrees.

Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy this evening, and mostly or completely cloudy overnight. A small impulse of atmosphere energy will push some flurries towards the area around sunrise.

Evening temperatures will drop to the mid 30s quickly, then settle in the low 30s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Morning flurries turning to showers, possibly lingering into the early afternoon. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 50s.

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Maybe a couple more afternoon showers. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 50s.

Friday: Increasing and thickening clouds. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs around 60.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with occasional showers. Morning lows around 40. Afternoon highs in the upper 50s.
