A man was arrested on Wednesday after he stole from a local hardware store and fled the scene, according to a report.
The report from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office stated that Reice M. Winter, 19 of the town of Harford, stole merchandise from the Tractor Supply store on Route 13 in the town of Cortlandville.
Winter fled the scene on a bicycle, but was located a short distance from the store.
He was arrested and charged with petit larceny, a Class-A Misdemeanor. Winter was processed, arraigned, released and now due to appear in Cortlandville town court at a later date.
