A slow moving weather system will move through the region today with a period of steady rain.

The rain will most likely arrive during the latter half of the morning. A few brief showers ahead of the main area of rain will be possible earlier on in the day.

Steady rain will continue through the early afternoon before tapering off during the mid to late afternoon. Some additional showers will be possible behind the primary area of widespread rain.
