Quiet weather will continue today as high pressure passes by to our north.

Sunny skies will be common place, though a few thin clouds will be possible in the morning, and a smattering of puffy fair weather clouds will bubble up for the afternoon.

There is only the smallest of chances for a brief shower from the largest clouds, and the most, if not all, of the area will spend the day completely dry.

Fair weather clouds will dissipate late in the afternoon and skies will clear again for the nighttime hours.

Winds will be from the north-northwest much of the day with speeds around 5 mph. Gusts will be minimal, staying at or under 20 mph.

Afternoon temperatures will make their way into the upper 60s and low 70s. Evening temperatures will drop back into the 50s, and overnight lows will end up in the mid 40s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Tuesday: Sunny with some afternoon fair weather clouds and a small chance for a stray shower. Morning lows in the mid 40s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Wednesday: Sun and clouds. Some scattered afternoon showers. Morning lows near 50. Afternoon highs in the low 70s.
