The incident was first filed to city police as a complaint on Aug. 15 last year. Following an investigation that lasted several months, Bruzee was arrested.

Bruzee is facing the following charges:

  • Predatory sex assault against a child (Class-A (II) Felony)
  • First-degree criminal sex act (a Class-B Felony)
  • First-degree sexual abuse (a Class-D Felony)
  • Endangering the welfare of a child (a Class-A Misdemeanor)

In county court on Tuesday, judge David Alexander set the defense motion for July 28, while a response from the district attorney’s office is due Aug. 11.

Bruzee’s next appearance in county court has yet to be determined. Bruzee is currently being held on a $25,000 cash bail, $100,000 bond and other bail options.
