Another area of low pressure will pass overhead today, resulting in a day similar to Wednesday.
Showers will be possible on and off throughout the morning hours. Most of these will be light, but they may fall steadily at times.
During the afternoon, the light showers will transition to scattered or numerous thunderstorms with heavy downpours.
With the low nearly overhead at this time, some of the storms will be slow moving, which could result in localized rainfall amounts well over an inch.
There will be a small chance for some isolated flooding issues if a storm cell sits in the same area for long enough. Most areas should not experience any flooding issues, though.
The thunderstorms will taper off late in the day, but showers will remain numerous during the early evening. These will gradually diminish during the overnight hours but will probably not completely dissipate.
Winds will be light and variable with speeds near or under 5 mph most of the time. The wind will come from a general southeasterly direction for the first part of the day, turning to the northwest and north by the evening.
Afternoon temperatures will stick to the mid and upper 60s. Evening temperatures will back into the upper 50s with lows in the mid 50s overnight.
Tonight, there may be some wildfire smoke that moves in behind the low pressure. Light smoke amounts may make it to the surface, but should not cause a significant hazard.

Sunday: Clouds, some sun, and a few showers. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.
Monday: Partly cloudy. Maybe a shower. Morning lows in the low 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
Tuesday: Partly cloudy. Perhaps some late rain. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
