Low pressure will slowly pull away from the region today, bringing a few changes to the weather today.

There will be some more rain to dodge today, but mostly just small, scattered showers. These will be most likely in the morning and midday hours, though an afternoon or evening shower cannot be totally ruled out.

Thunderstorms are not expected, and the rain that falls today should be light.

Skies will be rather cloudy through the morning, but some breaks of sun should start to poke out during the afternoon hours.

A steady northwest wind will blow with speeds around 10 mph. This will bring in cooler, less humid air.

Afternoon highs will be between 65-70 degrees, with the hilltops on the cooler side of that range. Dewpoints will be comfortably in the mid and upper 50s.

Tonight, skies will remain mixed with a small chance for a stray shower. Temperatures will drop to the low 60s this evening and into the mid 50s overnight.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Thursday: Sun and clouds. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the mid 70s.

Friday: Sun and clouds. Very small chance for a late shower or storm. Morning lows in the mid 50s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Saturday: Showers and thunderstorms likely. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.

Sunday: Showers and thunderstorms possible. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the upper 70s.
