Unsettled weather will pull away from the region today, leaving most of the day quiet.

Some clouds will linger this morning and could spawn a stray shower or two. Most areas will probably get through the morning without any precipitation.

The afternoon should trend sunnier, though there will still be some fair weather clouds and the smallest chance for a stray shower or storm.

Wind will be light with speeds under 5 mph. The wind direction will be variable but will often have a northerly component to it.

Slightly cooler, less humid air will move in on these winds. Look for afternoon highs near or slightly above 80 degrees. A few hilltops may not quite make it to 80 degrees. Dewpoints should stick to the upper 50s.

Skies will clear this evening, but a few clouds may build back in during the overnight. Temperatures will remain mild, with upper 60s this evening and overnight lows in the low 60s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Partly cloudy with an isolated afternoon storm possible. Morning lows in the low 60s. Afternoon highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with showers and storms likely. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Monday: Partly cloudy. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs in the low 80s.

Tuesday: Clouds and sun. Maybe a few showers. Morning lows in the mid 60s. Afternoon highs near 80.
