The Homer Central School District (HCSD) announced that all school supplies will be provided to all students at no cost to families for the 2023-24 school year, according to a release.
“We are thrilled to be able to supply our families with the necessary school supplies this school year,” said HCSD superintendent Thomas Turck. “It is essential for all students to have the tools they need to succeed.”
Items that were traditionally required to be purchased by families in previous school years will now be supplied to all students in the district. The release states that the announcement reaffirms the district’s mission statement of providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
