According to the report, the driver, a 56-year-old man from Brooklyn, New York, was transported to UHS Wilson Medical Center in Binghamton for non-life threatening injuries.

The tractor trailer itself was empty, but the report noted the fuel tank was “ruptured” and spilled about 60 gallons of fuel. Members of the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Unit (CVEU), along with the state department of environmental conservation (DEC), responded to the scene.

Further details on the fuel spill remain to be seen.
