The Cortland Voice will be holding its Cortland County High School Fall Media Day on August 27th, 2023 at Port Watson Conference Center at 5pm. The conference center is located on 131 Port Watson St, Cortland, NY 13045.
The Title sponsor of this season's media day is Visions Federal Credit Union.
We have been doing media days for each high school sport season due to our partnership with Visions Federal Credit Union, and we’re thankful for their investment into the community.
We know that there's a need for this in our community, and we want to give our athletes another opportunity to be seen.
This is for EVERY Varsity Fall sports team that each Cortland County School has (Cortland, Homer, McGraw, Cincinnatus & Marathon). There will be a special area with refreshments for the coaches and the athletic directors.
- Who's invited: The head coach, captain(s) of each team, star players of the team (chosen by the coach), and the athletic directors.
- When: August 27th, 2023
- Where: Port Watson Conference Center (131 Port Watson St, Cortland, NY 13045).
- Time: 5pm
- What will take place: There will be a photo session. The players will get their photo taken (please have them in a jersey), and the coaches and athletic directors will have a photo taken as well.
Parents and friends will not be given access to this event. Again, this is STRICTLY for the athletic directors, head coaches, captain(s) of the team, and any other star players of the team (chosen by the coach).
Doors will open at 5pm.
Student athletes will fill out a short form, and have their photo taken. Photos of the coaches with their selective players will be taken as well. Once athletes are done filling out their forms and have taken their photos, they will be free to leave.
Note: The Cortland Voice is not responsible for the students.
For the athletes: Please remember to bring your photo waiver to us when you arrive (Print and have the student's parent and/or legal guardian sign it).
