County schedules collection of unused prescription drugs in September

Cortland County has locked in various locations to collect unused, unneeded or expired prescription drugs in September.

A county-wide prescription drug disposal event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 30 at various locations.

The following locations for the event is as follows:

• Cincinnatus Fire Department (5722 Telephone Rd.) – 9 a.m. to noon
• Homer Town Hall (31 North Main St.) – 9 a.m. to noon
• Marathon Village Green (1 Park St.) – 9 a.m. to noon
• Cortlandville Fire Station (999 Rt. 13) Cortland – 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
