The Cortland Department of Public Works (DPW) announced a list of city streets that will be milled and paved in the coming weeks.
Starting on Monday (Sept. 11), the following city streets will be milled:
- Locust Avenue
- Grant Street
- Arthur Avenue
- Hamlin Street
- Grace Street
- Atkins Avenue
City DPW deputy supervisor Bill Lund said it will take a week-and-a-half to two weeks to mill all of the listed streets. Paving of these streets will tentatively begin on Sept. 25, Lund said, with George Street included in the paving process.
Lund noted the city’s milling and paving projects this month are all dependent on the weather.
