Clouds will be on the increase today as winds start to shift and allow the first bits of milder air to return to the region.

Sunshine will be possible this morning, mixing with and at times filtered by thin clouds. Over time, these clouds will grow thicker and more widespread. By the end of the afternoon, skies should be mostly cloudy.

No precipitation is expected from any of the clouds, though.

Winds will be very light today with speeds under 5 mph. What little wind there is will start from the east this morning but should end up from the south this afternoon.

Today will be warmer than yesterday, but not by a large amount. Look for near average highs in the mid 30s.

Clouds will persist tonight, as will dry conditions with no precipitation. Temperatures will drop to the upper 20s early on, then remain mostly steady through the night.

South winds will increase to 5-10 mph, which will help temperatures stay steady.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Saturday: Cloudy. Scattered showers late. Morning lows in the upper 20s. Afternoon highs in the upper 30s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy. A few showers early. Morning lows in the low 30s. Afternoon highs in the low 40s.

Monday: More clouds than sun. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a few late showers possible. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
