A man arrested over the weekend was in possession of a synthetic drug, according to a report.
The Cortland County Sheriff’s report stated that Lawrence A. Nemecek, 33 of Cortlandville, was arrested on an active warrant. Once in custody, Nemecek was discovered to be in possession of a synthetic drug.
Nemecek was arrested on Saturday (Feb. 3) and charged with an unlawful sale, possession, and/or use of dangerous substances or synthetic drugs (a local law). He was processed, released and now due to appear in Cortland city court on Feb. 12.
