A disorganized area of low pressure to our southeast will throw some light precipitation our way today.

Early risers may see a few slick spots as some pockets of sleet and freezing mix with rain this morning.

Most of the icy precipitation should turn to rain no later than the mid morning.

From there, it will be on and off rain showers for much of the remainder of the day. The precipitation should end just before sunset.

Total rain amounts should be greater than one-quarter of an inch, but less than a half inch.

South-southeast winds will blow with speeds up to 10 mph today. Top gusts will be 20-25 mph and highest over the northern hilltops.

Temperatures will top out in the mid 40s this afternoon. Evening temperatures will be near 40 degrees with overnight lows in the mid 30s.
