County Sheriff’s Blotter: Physical altercation, erratic driving and more

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office recently released arrest reports.

Below are the reports:

Brendon J. Underwood

Underwood, 18, of Homer, was arrested last Saturday (March 2).

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in the town of Solon.

According to the report, Underwood allegedly got into a physical altercation with another individual in the residence while in the presence of a child.

Underwood was charged with endangering the welfare of a child (a misdemeanor) and second-degree harassment (a violation). He was arraigned, processed, released and is now due to appear in Solon town court on March 20.

David M. Schilinske

Schilinske, 57, of Homer, was arrested on Tuesday (March 5).

The county sheriff’s report stated that officers responded to Route 13 in Cortlandville for an “erratic vehicle complaint.”

According to the report, officers located the vehicle and discovered that Schilinske was driving under the influence of drugs. He was also in possession of drugs.

Schilinske was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on March 18 for arraignment.

Lori-Anne M. Henry

Henry, 51, of Brewerton, was arrested last Thursday (Feb. 29).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Henry was in possession of drugs. She was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor).

Henry was processed, released and is now due to appear in Cortlandville town court on Monday (March 11).

Joshua M. Strauf

Strauf, 34, of Cortland, was arrested last Thursday (Feb. 29).

The county sheriff’s report stated that Strauf had a warrant out for his arrest by the New York State Police. When he was taken into custody, Strauf was found to be in possession of drugs.

Strauf was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (a misdemeanor). He was processed then turned over to state police.

Strauf is due to appear in Cortland city court on Monday (March 11).
