High pressure will be in control of the weather today with quiet conditions.

Skies will be mostly clear throughout the day. Only a few occasional thin clouds will mix with the sunshine.

Winds will be from the northwest again today, but the overall pattern will be for a southerly flow across the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes. Therefore, the air that is moving in on these northwest winds will be mild.

Afternoon highs will work their way into the low 50s. A few lower elevations could make it close to 55 degrees.

Wind speeds will be much lighter than yesterday, generally staying below 10 mph. Top gusts will only be 20-25 mph.

Tonight, clouds will gradually increase, and a stray spit of rain may even be possible toward dawn.

Winds will be light from the south, keeping evening temperatures in the mid to low 40s and overnight lows in the mid and upper 30s.

Here is a look at the weather for the next few days:

Wednesday: Sun, clouds, and a few showers. Morning lows in the mid 30s. Afternoon highs near or just above 60.
